Dog Portrait - Rat Terrier


Here is a dog portrait of a Rat Terrier that I just finished. They are such great little dogs and I was very excited to paint this guy. It's an 8 x 10" acrylic on Ampersand Gessoboard. You can see a short video I made of the progress here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oNkFFUYoBHc

    He is smiling. I know the breed is named for it's purpose, but such a sweet boy for such a terrible name.
    You have done a gorgeous job with it.
